Mech E retired from Esso
Petroleum Co Ltd in 1995 and set up a consultancy.
He
has wide experience of the petroleum industry with some 10 years
service with Shell, and a Shell/Conoco/Union Stockyards subsidiary,
and 26 years experience with ESSO.
Prior
to retirement from ESSO, he was Aviation Technical Co-ordinator,
with responsibility for all technical issues involving aviation
fuels and lubricants in the United Kingdom and Ireland and served on
a number of aviation industry technical committees.
He
was involved in the aviation activity with ESSO for thirteen years,
involving the seeking of approval for EXXON turbo oils with
equipment manufacturers and the technical audits/inspections of the
ESSO refinery, airports, pipelines, shipping operations and
terminals with regard to aviation quality controls.
